Located on our quiet Floor 4, our Drop-in Offices offer an office-like experience that allows you to plug in your personal laptop to a large monitor and begin working on your project in seconds!

- Faculty and Graduate Assistants looking for an office away from their office.
- Working with large data sets on a dual screen or mirrored larger screen monitor.
- Enhancing the library laptop checkout experience.
Drop-in Offices include:
- 24” Widescreen Monitor with built-in USB-C providing keyboard, video, mouse, and power in a single connection.
- Dry erase whiteboard. Dry erase markers can be checked out from the Floor 2 Circulation Desk.
- Open desk space to layout work.
- Power hookups to charge other devices.
Connecting your laptop
The USB-C hub monitor provided in each office is compatible with most modern Windows and MacOS laptops that have a USB-C port available. If your device is not able to connect you can still use one of our many collaboration stations offered throughout Milner Library.
Connecting your laptop is as simple as plugging in the provided USB-C cable to your laptop while it is on. The monitor will automatically begin displaying what’s on your screen; no software, adapters, or configuration required!

Our drop-in offices are located on the Floor 4 in northeast and southeast corners in the 422, 423, 428, and 429 office blocks.
