Wireless Access

Milner Library is equipped to provide wireless access to the web and campus network. Wireless access points are located throughout the building. Signal strength may vary depending on distance from an access point and proximity to our book shelves.

Connecting to Wireless Internet

When connecting to the wireless network, students, faculty, and staff members may choose between:

  • isunet

Meant for student, faculty, and staff use, requires a valid ISU ULID and password, and grants full access to the campus network.

  • isunet-public

Meant for the public and visitors, does not require a user name or password to access, and only provides internet access.

  • eduroam

Meant for scholars visiting from institutions that also use Eduroam and grants full access to the campus network. Students, staff, and faculty visiting from an Eduroam-supported university will need to use their account information given to them from their institution to log in to eduroam.

Get Help Connecting to the Network

If you encounter issues connecting your device to WiFi you may visit the Help Desk in Julian 115 or the TechZone Service Center located in Bone Student Center. Milner Library staff members can advise you about availability of the wireless network but are unable to assist with laptop configurations.
