Interlibrary Loan
Milner Library provides Interlibrary Loan services for print materials that are not available through the I-Share Catalog, and for articles that are not available through the library print or electronic journals. Interlibrary loan requests are submitted through Tipasa, Milner Library’s request management software.
Interlibrary Loan provides access to a number of materials
- Books
- Theses and Dissertations
- Microform materials
- Journal articles
- Missing items, or those that are currently charged out
- Patents
There are a number of items that cannot be requested through Interlibrary Loan. Typically, this would be due to the difficulty in finding a library that would be willing to lend these items.
- Materials available in the library in any format, including microform
- Recent newspapers
- Reference books or class textbooks
- Genealogical materials
- Rare or valuable books
