Opening September 13 on the second floor of Milner Library, I Know What You Did Last Summer displays work that School of Art students created over the summer. This is an opportunity to have an insight on students’ continued work outside the academic year. It shows the skills they have learned during academic semesters, provides inspiration and creativity for other students and faculty to see, and creates an enjoyable and informative exhibition for the public. This exhibition is a project of the Art History Society and Photography Club members, giving student members curatorial and exhibit design experience.
Although we know much about each other throughout the school year, very little is known about how our summer was spent. Art that represents everyone’s individual summer will prompt interest and curiosity in each other’s personal lives. The project was open to every accomplishment and activity, whether it be big or small, that was done during the summer.
