Thomas Metcalf School sixth graders were asked the question "If you could be the most powerful leader of anything real or imaginary, what would it be? Would you be the CEO of outer space? The Queen of Chocolate Chip Cookies?" Students created symbols and designed their chairs to reflect their ideas. Sixth graders used acrylic paint on recycled wooden desk chairs rescued from the newly renovated Illinois State residence halls.
