Biography

I came to Milner Library from the University of Colorado Boulder where I was the Director of Rare and Distinctive Collections and Head of the Government Information Library (2012-2024). I am a long-time subject librarian, with years of experience in library instruction, reference, collection development, and leadership. My academic background is in Cultural Anthropology (B.A.), South East Asian studies (M.A) and Library and Information Science (M.S.). My ultimate goal is to make the library as friendly and accessible as possible to students and faculty. I enjoy collaborating with colleagues across campus to make this happen! In my spare time I enjoy hiking, growing my Lego collection, and relaxing with family in the country.

Research Interests & Areas

Library leadership and management, organizational change and design, library liaison models and subject librarianship, government information librarianship, sources, and users.
