The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format.

Electronic edition of Dissertation Abstracts covering the complete range of academic subjects appearing in dissertations from over 1,000 accredited institutions since 1861.     Historic Documents
The online equivalent of the entire run of the print serial Historic documents, issued since 1972, each annual volume of which contains approximately 100 documents covering the most significant events of the year. The documents include presidential speeches, international agreements, Supreme Court decisions, U.S. governmental reports, scientific findings, and cultural discussions. Documents are preceded by introductory material to provide historical and intellectual context. Documents may be searched by full-text keyword, title, and topic; a cumulative index is provided. This resource contains the iPoll Databank with half a million survey questions and answers asked in the US over the last 65 years by more than 150 survey organizations. The Center's Dataset Collection contains surveys from the United States, as well as from Europe, Latin America and Asia. A personal account must be created in order to download datasets.

JSTOR holds the complete digitized back runs of core scholarly journals, starting with the very first issues, and offers high-resolution, scanned images of journal issues and pages as they were originally designed, printed, and illustrated. Of the available JSTOR collections, Milner has 4 multi-disciplinary collections (Arts and Sciences I, II, III and VII) and two discipline-specific collections (Ecology & Botany, General Science) for a total of 1113 academic journals.

    Polling the Nations 1986 to present
A database of polls taken on a variety of subjects all over the world from 1986 to the present. Each record in the database consists of one poll question and the participants' responses. Records are indexed in one of more than 5,000 topics and six search fields: subject matter, question text, universe, date, polling organization and response categories. Other information provided includes: source name and contact information, sample size, and notes on the sample population. Includes full text.
