New Collaboration Station on Sixth Floor - posted 1/12/12
A larger collaboration station with seven connector cables has been installed on the west side of the 6th floor.  Milner Library now has collaboration stations on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th (in 514), and 6th floors. 

Changes to I-Share Borrowing Procedures - posted 1/9/12
New I-Share borrowing policies took effect on Jan. 5.  Block thresholds are now active.  If your account reaches a threshold, you will not be able to make I-Share requests, check out I-Share books, or renew I-Share books until the blocking condition is resolved.  Local transactions involving ISU materials are not counted.  Here are the thresholds: 

• 25 I-Share items are overdue
• 1 I-Share item recalled for course reserves and overdue
• 3 I-Share items lost
• 10 "forgiveness" claims
• 10 I-Share items self-shelved (returned to library shelf without being checked in)
• $200 total unpaid I-Share fines or fees

70,000 eBooks Now Available - posted 11/29/11
Milner Library provides access to over 70,000 ebooks through a resource called Academic Complete, which covers all disciplines.  You can perform fulltext searches across the database and within specific ebooks.  Books can be viewed by any web browser on any device, with options to highlight, bookmark, download, and more. For additional ebook options, visit the Milner Electronic Books page.
