    Academic Search Complete 1887 to present
A scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database containing full text for more than 7,100 publications, including over 6,100 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for 11,200 journals and other publications including monographs, reports, and conference proceedings. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format.

The Artstor Digital Library provides more than one million digital images in the arts, architecture, humanities, and sciences with an accessible suite of software tools for teaching and research. The community-built collections comprise contributions from outstanding international museums, photographers, libraries, scholars, photo archives, and artists and artists' estates.

    AtoZ the World
AtoZ the World contains profiles from 175 countries and hundreds of cities. Each entry features 20 different topics, including education, demographics, climate, culture and travel essentials. There are also special topics for travelers, such as health and safety, using phones and electricity internationally and tips for women travelers. Also included is current news feeds about the country or city from a variety of sources.

BrowZine is a web-based service and app for Apple or Android smart phones and devices that helps you browse through scholarly e-journals available from Milner Library. BrowZine sorts our e-journals into broad disciplines and then into narrower subjects. You can save and organize your most-used e-journals on virtual bookshelves in your account. The result is an easy and familiar way to browse through, read, and monitor scholarly e-journals across disciplines.

    Contemporary Authors
Contemporary Authors offers continuous access to current biographical and bibliographical data on more than 120,000 authors from the nineteenth century to the present. Easily search for an author by name, title of work, subject/genre, nationality, date and place of birth, honors, awards and much more.

    Dictionary of Literary Biography Complete 1978 -
Consisting of the Dictionary of Literary Biography, the Dictionary of Literary Biography Documentary Series and the Dictionary of Literary Biography Yearbook Series, the Dictionary of Literary Biography Complete features more than 143,000 comprehensive literary biographies. The biographies discuss lives and careers of authors, journalists, publishers and other literary figures.

    ERIC (Government Version) 1966 to present
Indexes and abstracts education-related journal articles and reports (known as ERIC Documents) from 1966 to the present. Currently includes over 1.4 million citations. Citations to journal articles have accession numbers starting with EJ. Citations to ERIC Documents have accession numbers starting with ED.

    ERIC (Ovid)
An authoritative database of indexed and full-text educational literature and resources, featuring journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index.

ERIC indexes education-related materials from scholarly organizations, professional associations, research centers, policy organizations, university presses, the U.S. Department of Education and other federal agencies, and state and local agencies. It links to more than 330,000 full-text documents.

    Film & Television Literature Index with Full Text
Film & Television Literature Index with Full Text is the definitive index to film and television literature. It is a bibliographic database that provides cover-to-cover indexing and abstracts for more than 300 publications, and selected coverage of 300 more. Full text for over 270 journals is also included. The database has been designed for use by a diverse audience that includes film scholars, college students, and general viewers.

    Film Literature Index 1976 - 2001
The Film Literature Index (FLI) annually indexes 150 film and television periodicals from 30 countries cover-to-cover and 200 other periodicals selectively for articles on film and television. The periodicals range from the scholarly to the popular. More than 2,000 subject headings provide detailed analysis of the articles.

This database changed it's name to Film & Television Literature Index beginning in 2002.

    Historical Abstracts 1955 to present
Covers the history of the world from 1450 to the present (excluding the United States and Canada, which are covered in America History and Life). Over half a million entries in all. Currently over 2,000 journals published throughout the world are covered in the database. Updated three times per year. Provides citations, abstracts.

    Humanities International Complete
Humanities International Complete is an invaluable resource for students, researchers, and educators interested in all aspects of the humanities, with worldwide content pertaining to literary, scholarly and creative thought. As well as including all data from Humanities International Index, Humanities International Complete includes full text for nearly 1200 journals.

JSTOR holds the complete digitized back runs of core scholarly journals, starting with the very first issues, and offers high-resolution, scanned images of journal issues and pages as they were originally designed, printed, and illustrated. Of the available JSTOR collections, Milner has 11 multi-disciplinary collections (Arts and Sciences I through XI) and two discipline-specific collections (Ecology & Botany, Health & General Sciences). JSTOR Current Scholarship Program provides subscription access to current issues of 34 journals within these collections.

star Linguisitics and Language Behavior Abstracts (LLBA) 1973 to present
Linguistics & Language Behavior Abstracts (LLBA) abstracts and indexes the international literature in linguistics and related disciplines in the language sciences. The database covers all aspects of the study of language including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics. Complete coverage is given to various fields of linguistics including descriptive, historical, comparative, theoretical and geographical linguistics. The database provides abstracts of journal articles and citations to book reviews drawn from over 1,500 serials publications, and also provides abstracts of books, book chapters, and dissertations.

star MLA International Bibliography 1963 to present
Literature, languages, linguistics, and folklore from over 4,000 journals and series published worldwide. Updates ten times per year. Provides citations, abstracts.

    Naxos Spoken Word Library
Concentrating largely on literary classics and educational themes, Naxos Spoken Word Library offers audio version of literature and poetry, ranging from medieval times to the twentieth century. Adobe Flash is the default player for the streamed audio files. NOTE: Only five (5) people can access this resource at one time. If you see a "maximum users reached" message, please try again later.

    Project Muse Premium Collection
Provides full text access to journals in the humanities, arts, and social sciences from 60 scholarly publishers. Coverage and update periods vary. Provides citation, abstracts, and full text. Project Muse is a not-for-profit collaboration between the participating publishers and the Milton S. Eisenhower Library at Johns Hopkins University.

Over 36 million records of any type of material cataloged by OCLC member libraries. Includes manuscripts written as early as the 11th century. Updated daily. Provides citations.
