The PsycINFO database, American Psychological Association's (APA) renowned resource for abstracts of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations, is the largest resource devoted to peer-reviewed literature in behavioral science and mental health. It contains over 3 million records and summaries dating as far back as the 1600s with one of the highest DOI matching rates in the publishing industry. Journal coverage, which spans from the 1800s to the present, includes international material selected from around 2,500 periodicals in dozens of languages

    ERIC (Government Version) 1966 to present
Indexes and abstracts education-related journal articles and reports (known as ERIC Documents) from 1966 to the present. Currently includes over 1.4 million citations. Citations to journal articles have accession numbers starting with EJ. Citations to ERIC Documents have accession numbers starting with ED.

    Professional Development Collection
Designed for professional educators, this database provides a highly specialized collection of nearly 550 high quality education journals, including more than 350 peer-reviewed titles. This database also contains more than 200 educational reports. In addition to full text, indexing and abstracts are provided for more than 700 journals.

It is the precursor to the Education Abstracts database.

    Primary Search 1984 to present
Primary Search provides full text for over 90 popular magazines and 2000 books for elementary school research. All full-text articles are assigned reading level/readability indicators (Lexiles). In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for nearly 100 magazines. Includes the Encyclopedia of Animals and Funk & Wagnall's New World Encyclopedia. Also provides the American Heritage Children's Dictionary and thousands of relevant photos, maps, and flags. Full text backfiles go as far back as 1989, while indexing and abstract backfiles go as far back as 1984.

Testing & Education Reference Center includes information on standardized tests, scholarships and careers. It includes over 300 practice tests and courses ranging from SAT to GMAT to ASVAB and more. Use any of the dozens of ebooks with study material and practice tests. Search for information on over 4,000 accredited schools as well as scholarships. Utilize the resume builder with over 1,000 brainstorming phrases to get you started developing your resume. Additional career modules are available which cover subjects from career change to salary negotiations.

Registration is required to use the sample tests and read the ebooks.

BrowZine is a web-based service and app for Apple or Android smart phones and devices that helps you browse through scholarly e-journals available from Milner Library. BrowZine sorts our e-journals into broad disciplines and then into narrower subjects. You can save and organize your most-used e-journals on virtual bookshelves in your account. The result is an easy and familiar way to browse through, read, and monitor scholarly e-journals across disciplines.

An authoritative database of indexed and full-text educational literature and resources, featuring journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index.

ERIC indexes education-related materials from scholarly organizations, professional associations, research centers, policy organizations, university presses, the U.S. Department of Education and other federal agencies, and state and local agencies. It links to more than 330,000 full-text documents.
