    Polling the Nations 1986 to present
A database of polls taken on a variety of subjects all over the world from 1986 to the present. Each record in the database consists of one poll question and the participants' responses. Interactive, searchable database that retrieves population, housing, industry and business statistics from the U. S. Census. Provides data for the lowest level of geography (blocks), and data for a variety of geographic entities, including school districts, zip code tabulation areas, state legislative districts and Census tracts. Also allows users to retrieve and create reference and thematic maps. Coverage period variable. Continuously updated. Provides statistical data.

Contains movies about historical figures such as Danial Boone and Helen Thomas. Movies come from partners such as PBS, History Channel and others. Includes newsreels. This collection includes over 6000 titles.

    CQ Electronic Library
CQ Electronic Library is a definitive reference resource for research in American government, politics, history, public policy, and current affairs. This platform unites several modules allowing them to be searched all at once or by themselves.

The Federal Register Library includes the Federal Register which is updated on a daily basis. It's coverage is comprehensive and begins from inception (1936). It also includes the CFR from inception (1938), United States Government Manual from inception (1935), Daily and Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents from inception (1965).

The HeinOnline Government, Politics and Law Collection provides full-text access to core legal journals and other legal materials. It includes federal laws, regluations, case law, and reports and opinions of the U.S. Attorney General, and more. Contained within the collection are libraries such as Foreign Relations of the United States, Legal Classics, US Congressional Documents, US Supreme Court Library , just to name a few.

The Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) is a data archive of over 7,500 research studies containing over 500,000 files of data. Data coverage is in such areas as demography, crime, economics, education, elections, health care, aging and substance abuse.

Data files may be downloaded for research use by establishing a My Data account or by using Google or Facebook logins.

This resource contains the iPoll Databank with half a million survey questions and answers asked in the US over the last 65 years by more than 150 survey organizations. The Center's Dataset Collection contains surveys from the United States, as well as from Europe, Latin America and Asia. A personal account must be created in order to download datasets.

    Statistical Abstract of the United States (Proquest) 1790 to present
Provides statistical tables and charts covering various aspects of social, political, and economic life. Emphasis is on the United States, but some tables cover regions, states, cities, and comparative international statistics. Information is gathered from all agencies of the federal government and from private, commercial, and professional sources. The Statistical Abstract of the United States is designed to serve as a convenient source for statistical reference and as a guide to other statistical publications and sources. Most data are presented in time series and include the most recent year available at time of publication.

    U.S. Serial Set 1789-1969
The ProQuest U.S. Serial Set collection begins in 1789 with the American State Papers and details Congressional business through 1969. It includes reports and documents either produced or ordered by Congress, as well as presidential communications and treaty materials. Of particular importance to those who study law, the Serial Set contains Congressional legislative reports that provide unrivaled insight into the legislative intent of laws enacted before 1969.
