Provides access to a wide range of news, business, legal, and reference information. included company profiles. Provides citations, abstracts, full text.

    Congressional Publications
Provides access to a variety of information by and about the United States Congress. It indexes Congressional publications from 1789 to the present and provides access to Legislative Histories for public laws (1969-); testimony from congressional hearings (1824-); bill texts and status (1989-); the Congressional Record (1985-); the Federal Register (1980-); and the US Serial Set (1789-1969), and information about members and committees.

    CQ Electronic Library
CQ Electronic Library is a definitive reference resource for research in American government, politics, history, public policy, and current affairs. This platform unites several modules allowing them to be searched all at once or by themselves.

Current modules are CQ Global Researcher, CQ Researcher, the Encyclopedia of US Political History and the Historic Documents series.

    Homeland Security Digital Library
The Homeland Security Digital Library (HSDL) is the nation's premier collection of documents related to homeland security policy, strategy, and organizational management. The HSDL is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's National Preparedness Directorate, FEMA and the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security.

The Homeland Security Digital Library is composed of homeland security related documents collected from a wide variety of sources. These include federal, state, tribal, and local government agencies, professional organizations, think tanks, academic institutions, and international governing bodies. Resources are carefully selected and evaluated by a team of librarians and subject-matter specialists.

BrowZine is a web-based service and app for Apple or Android smart phones and devices that helps you browse through scholarly e-journals available from Milner Library. BrowZine sorts our e-journals into broad disciplines and then into narrower subjects. You can save and organize your most-used e-journals on virtual bookshelves in your account. The result is an easy and familiar way to browse through, read, and monitor scholarly e-journals across disciplines.

    Criminal Justice and Public Safety in Video
This resource includes hundreds of hours of video for professionals and students in criminal justice and public safety. Documentaries and interviews provide personal field experiences as well as insight into the function and controversies of the justice system. It also includes training videos that demonstrate how to respond to potentially-dangerous situations.

    National Survey of State Laws
Offers state-by-state comparisons of laws in over fifty topics, such as gun control, and are divided into eight general legal categories--business and consumer laws, criminal laws, education laws, employment laws, family laws, general civil laws, real estate laws, and tax laws. Each section begins with a general overview followed by a summary of each state's statutes on particular aspects of a law with a citation to the original code section or statute. For comparison sake, the database also includes online versions of the fifth, sixth, and seventh editions and PDF files of all seven print editions.
