Touchscreen scanning stations situated throughout the library offer library patrons a convenient way to make digital copies of library materials. These stations are located just south of the main stairwell on the second, third, fourth, and fifth floors, and near the copier in the Teaching Materials Center on the sixth floor. All stations include both flatbed scanners and document feeding scanners.
Patrons may scan to a USB drive, to the Google Drive service, or to an Office 365 account for no charge. Simply touch the screen to begin and follow the instructions.
Patrons can also scan images and send them to a print station to be printed. Black and white printing costs eight cents ($0.08) per page. Color printing costs 40 cents ($0.40) per page. Print stations are located on the main floor (Floor 2) and on Floors 3, 4, 5, and 6. The color print station is located in the computer lab on floor 2. Printing is payable using a valid Redbird Card. Print stations are not configured to accept bills or coins.
Flatbed scanners with more comprehensive scanning and editing software can be found at 3 of the workstations in the computer lab. University students, faculty, and staff must possess an active ULID to log on to the computers in the lab.
