Milner Computer Lab

 

The Milner Computer Lab (MCL), a uLab, is located on the main floor of the library, room 213B. (Floor 2 Map) University students, faculty, and staff must possess an active ULID to logon to the computers in the lab. The MCL offers:

  • 107 Dell PCs (including 2 scanner workstations)
  • 2 ADA scanner workstations
  • 4 geographic information system (GIS) workstations
  • 4 iMac computers (including 1 scanner workstation)
  • B&W and color laser printing is available with the University ID Card or a Guest Copy Card.

The MCL workstations include commonly needed software, such as Microsoft Office 2010 (Office 2011 on iMacs), SPSS 20, Audacity 2, and Refworks. Workstations also include a VMWare client for connecting to selected software packages found in other campus labs, such as MyITlab. Selected workstations are also configured with Adobe CreativeSuite CS4 for graphics development. The four GIS workstations provide the Esri ArcGIS software package.

Two ADA accessible workstations are provided for University students, faculty, and staff who may need access to tools such as ZoomText, JAWS, Scan-n-Read Pro, and PDF Magic.
